the spirit of the walking mall
Every year in downtown helena,MT they have a light parade and lighting of the firetower to open the cristmas holiday. Our family has gone every year for the past three years. We usually stand up by the public library to get the best view of the firetower. This year we went further down the walking mall because it was colder than usual and we wanted some shelter. The parade was short this year and we had a good place to take pics unobstructed. The photo I took was of santas reindeer taking off in flight. I took the picture with my Kodac digital camera which has the display screen on the back. When I lined up the camera to take the photo, there was nothing there but the pick up with the sleigh and reindeer. It wasn't until after I took the photo that I noticed the white wisp on the top of the screen. I thought I had messed up the picture. When I down loaded the pic to my computer, it was then that I noticed the wisp had features and when we enlarged the photo, you can see the clothes of the ghost that appears to be dated in the early 1900's. I have no idea the real history of the walking mall in downtown Helena but I am a believer of spirits being photographed now. The details are amazing on this photo. You can see his eyes, nose, mustache, and part of his hat clearly. Amazing!
